Jean Feng

Jean Feng

Associate Professor, University of California, San Francisco

Jean Feng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, San Francisco and the UCSF-UC Berkeley Joint Program in Computational Precision Health. She is the data science lead of the PROSPECT team, the digital innovation taskforce for Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, San Francisco's safety net hospital. PROSPECT's work on leveraging AI to improve hospital operations and patient outcomes has won numerous quality improvement awards, including the Quality Leaders Award in Equity at the California Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems Safety Net Institute as well as The Joint Commission's Bernard J. Tyson National Award for Pursuit of Healthcare Equity. Jean is also a principal investigator at the UCSF-Stanford Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI), where she collaborates closely with researchers from the US Food and Drug Administration to develop methods that improve the safety, reliability, and interpretability of (gen)AI systems in healthcare.

Associate Professor, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

Benjamin Glicksberg, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor and the Chief of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for the Windreich Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is the Founding Director of the Center for AI in Children's Health and is the Director of the Digital Discovery Program within the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Health. Formerly, he served on the leadership team as the VP and Head of Data Science and Machine Learning of Character Biosciences, a precision health drug development company. He co-founded ArtemisAI Labs, which delivers real-time, objective health assessments at the bedside using audiovisual monitoring, focusing primarily in neonatal care. Dr. Glicksberg received his Ph.D. from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed post-doctoral work at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Adam Dunn

Professor of Biomedical Informatics, The University of Sydney

Adam Dunn is Professor of Biomedical Informatics in the Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney. His research focus is in applications of AI in health, aimed at improving the safety and fairness of the AI tools developed and deployed for use in clinical, public health, and medical research. Adam is Editor-in-Chief for npj Digital Public Health, Deputy Editor for npj Digital Medicine, and has been working in areas related to health informatics for nearly 20 years.
